I have a special place in my heart for my local customers, as it takes a hardy bunch of islanders here on Martha's Vineyard to keep our little island alive during the long, gray winter. If you live here year round, you know what I'm talking about. And if you live here, I'm celebrating YOU this month during my LOVE for the LOCALS Sale. Absolutely everything in store and online is 20% off. Come in for a visit!
NOT LOCAL? I love you too. If you can't travel to the Vineyard during the lovely winter months, enjoy up to 20% off your online order. The discount code for online purchases is LOVE, simply enter it at checkout. Sale runs through Sunday, December 10th (both in studio and online).
Over school vacation week this spring on Martha's Vineyard I invited kids into my studio for jewelry craft activities! We designed and created our own stretchy bracelets from gemstones, crystals and pretty charms. There were trays of beautiful beads to work with and plenty of inspiration on hand. The kids got to choose their beads and charm and then I showed them how to put it all together. Check out their gallery of bracelet designs below!
Remember that I need a little time to make the jewelry! Below are my shipping time frames for the holiday to make sure you get your gifts delivered on time.
- Order by Monday, December 19th with Priority Shipping to get it by December 25th
- Order by Tuesday, December 20th with Express Shipping to get it by December 25th

Guláš, Beef Goulash (above). A beef stew served with (extra delicious) onions and bread dumplings. Dumplings (either bread or potato) accompany many meals in the Czech Republic.
Svíčková (above). Beef with a cream sauce served with cranberries, whipped cream(!) and bread dumplings. The thick sauce is made from carrot, parsley root, celeriac and cream. Beef with whipped cream!
pečené vepřové s knedlíky a se zelím (above), is often considered the most typical Czech dish... It consists of roast pork with pickled red cabbage and potato dumplings.

This photo was taken on what may have been one of the best nights of my life (after, of course, my wedding and the birth of my daughter...). Working late to accomplish many things during my last day and night at the bead factory. We enjoyed pizza and champagne and Jamie and I worked on designing a new collection, choosing beads for Spring, and forecasting our needs for the coming year. Now that's my idea of heaven!

Then off to Prague!
What a trip!

While I'm away in the Czech Republic for my bead buying trip, the girls at studio started to get ready for the holidays! I'm so happy to see that the studio is all sparkles and glitters!
The stockings are hung by the fireplace.
Shiny glitter bows and ornaments right where you can find some gifts for someone on your list!
Garlands, ornaments, bows and lights are twinkling with my jewelry and I'm so excited to be getting in the Holiday spirit with all of you!
There's also a few new designs I'd love to share with you. I've added a color mix and a medley perfect to add more sparkle to your holiday ensembles!
The Island Fog is inspired by the shades of gray from the island's winter hues. It is made of striking banded agate, smoky quartz, white jade, goegeous faceted mother of pearl, crystals, freshwater pearls and Czech glass tiles.
The Wine & Chocolate mix is added to my Trilogy Collection, think merlot and dark chocolate by a cozy fire.
Come on by the studio to see the new designs! And don't forget about Christmas in Edgartown next week, December 8-11. We'll be having some hot cider for you while you shop!
Inspired by my seaglass stash from days spent wandering island beaches, my new collection is just beachy. With borrowed hues and textures from ocean-tumbled glass, this jewelry is sure to transport you to the water's edge.
Every Trilogy style now comes in seaglass mix in addition to my classic color palette. Just choose "Mix: Seaglass" from the dropdown menu on a product page to view or purchase any piece in this new color mix.
The seaglass medley necklace (shown below) features freshwater pearls, jade and recycled glass in addition to my favorite Czech glass.
And here's the bracelet:
These are some new hoop earrings:
As well as some new seaglass drop earrings which come with a sterling ball stud, which is new for me and I'm really liking it.
I spend my summers outdoors at the Vineyard Artisans Festivals on Martha's Vineyard interacting with customers and sharing my enthusiasm for my jewelry. I love watching customers' reactions to my newest colors and styles and observing as they interact with my creations. I was inspired to create this video after Julia, my booth helper this past summer, discovered YET ANOTHER way to wear my already versatile Trilogy 60" necklace! A creative gal by nature, one day she was playing around with the long necklaces in my booth and she came up with a way of creating a pendant by tying a knot. Now this is one of my favorite ways to wear this classic necklace. We spent the rest of the summer demonstrating this new knot to customers as they browsed in my booth, complete with puns like "you will knot believe how many ways you can wear this necklace" and "are you ready to get knotty?". In this video I share this knot as one of the seven ways to wear the necklace. How do you wear your Trilogy necklace? Please share below in the comments. Enjoy!
