Stefanie Wolf Designs Team on Martha's Vineyard

Stefanie Wolf Designs is a woman-owned jewelry design and retail brand based on the island of Martha’s Vineyard. We have been in business for 20 years and have grown from a pop up tent at a street fair to a multifaceted product company with growing brand recognition. Our signature jewelry products are designed and made in the USA with a focus on local production. You can find our jewelry designs at 70 boutiques and galleries nationwide. The most recent addition to the brand is an island-based flagship retail store on Circuit Avenue in Oak Bluffs, MA on the island of Martha's Vineyard which showcases our work as well as the creations of other local artists.

Our production studio sits behind our flagship store, which is the representation of our brand to retail customers and visitors, and showcases our jewelry as well as carefully curated selection of gifts, women's accessories and goods for the home.

We are known for creating vibrant, colorful jewelry, and have developed a following both locally and nationwide. Our jewelry is inspired by the power and beauty of the ocean, the magic of island life, and the energy of the natural elements we incorporate in our designs. In addition to our shop and website, you can find our jewelry in fine galleries, boutiques, catalogs and museum stores nationwide. Our local business employs a small team of responsible, hard-working, respectful staff and we are looking for just the right fantastic folks to join us.

Retail Associate

Timeframe: We are looking for Sales Associates to join our team. The current open position is Part Time, with opportunity for year round for the right person. You must be available to work weekends and some holidays.

Are you right for this role? We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about our brand and products and can craft a friendly and informative in-store experience for our customers. To be successful in this role, you will greet and connect with customers, you are a fast learner and quick on your feet. You must be able to work well with others, have interest in jewelry, accessories, and gifts, and be open to feedback. There is room for growth and promotion and you may have the opportunity to learn about other parts of the business if interested. Employees receive generous discounts on our products which comes in handy for holiday shopping!

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide excellent customer service to customers both in the shop and over the phone
  • Share key product knowledge with customers.
  • Help each customer feel as if they are the most important person in the world.
  • Assist in maintaining a tidy, enticing, well-stocked shop.
  • Recommend ideas to boost sales and improve the customer experience.

      Operations Assistant

      Timeframe: We are looking for an Operations Assistant to join our team, in a year round capacity. 

      Are you right for this role? We are looking for someone who is organized and pays attention to details. You are a fast learner with a sharp memory and you have the capacity tolearn and understand our production and operational processes.  To be successful in this role, you are a team player who can work with others to reach a common goal. When presented with a problem you look for solutions and creative options to get the goal acheived. You are open to feedback.

      RESPONSIBILITIES

      • Learn, establish and build a working knowledge of the jewelry products we create here
      • Assist in the production studio with inventory counts, project planning, quality checking finished jewelry
      • Assist with order receiving and fulfillment
      • Provide the highest level of customer service via email and phone
      • Serve as an extra hand for the retail shop as necessary
      • Assist with projects, errands and odd jobs, occasionally
      • Keep us clean, neat and tidy. You might occasionally need to clean the bathroom

          Marketing Manager

          Timeframe & Location: This is a full time year round position that can be local, hybrid or remote.

          SUMMARY

          Do you have a proven record of marketing results across multiple channels? Do you find it easy to visualize the futuristic “big picture” and the necessary steps it takes to get to it? Are you equal parts analytical & creative? Are you a self-starter with a desire to hit targets & grow within an organization? Then this is the job for you!

          The ideal Marketing Manager is equal parts strategic and tactical implementation - with the ability to easily understand high-level initiatives & capable of executing the steps to bring projects to fruition. This position will own all aspects of the marketing projects and initiatives of the organization. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

          RESPONSIBILITIES

          • Oversee and develop the marketing strategy and recommend the tactics that will best deliver the desired KPIs. This includes, but is not limited to eCommerce, in-store retail, and wholesale channels.
          • Present a high-level quarterly calendar and monthly detailed calendar that supports marketing priorities. This includes all product launches, rollouts, promotions, in-store, online, email, and social media.
          • Oversee and manage a robust email marketing program. In charge of growing the existing email list through deployment of tactics on-site & off-site while overseeing the corresponding automations/flows to ensure maximum ROI.
          • Responsible for monitoring, reporting & hitting specific KPIs (channel growth, increased traffic, engagements, etc.).
          • Deploy targeted campaigns to segmented email/SMS lists based on potential revenue opportunities, upcoming product rollouts, company goals, and industry best practices.
          • Plan and execute weekly, monthly, and quarterly product launches and promotions across multiple channels
          • Prioritize additional marketing programs including but not limited to: a customer loyalty program, subscription program and product bundling functionality.
          • Communicate with the in-store retail team regarding launch messaging, in-store signage and talking points that help them sell
          • Own print marketing for postcards, stickers, inserts, and print ads

          QUALIFICATIONS

          • Strategic thinker AND can implement tactical plans. You can work as a partner, listen, strategize and implement.
          • At least 2 years of experience as a marketing professional, marketing products to consumers, both online and in person. 
          • You have a working knowledge of Shopify and a high level of comfort with integrations, apps, and add ons to this platform.
          • At least 2 years of email marketing experience with specific working knowledge of list segmentation, flows strategies and processes.
          • Working knowledge of Klaviyo (or a comparable email marketing platform), and comfort with integrations, apps, and add ons to this platform.
          • Familiarity with Google Workspace and Google Analytics and the ability to use these tools for data, collaboration and communication to achieve goals
          • Excellent project management skills and specific experience working with a project management tool such as Asana, Monday or similar.
          • Able to to take strategic direction and collaborate with team members to create and implement a multichannel marketing calendar for a growing retail business.
          • Able to manage an integrated marketing strategy that incorporates eCommerce, brick and mortar retail, and wholesale.
          • Self-starter and can manage multiple projects while effectively utilizing your time to achieve your goals. You are a good communicator, both verbal and written, and not afraid to ask for what you need in order to reach your goals.
