Every year, my trip to the Tucson Gem Show is one of my favorite parts of the season. It’s not just about sourcing materials—it’s about discovering pieces that spark creativity, imagining how they’ll come to life in jewelry, and bringing home treasures that will define our next collections. This year was incredible, and I’m so excited to share a peek at what I brought back.
Pearls That Make a Statement
I found some of the most beautiful and unique pearls I’ve ever seen—baroque shapes that will become bold statement necklaces, along with more wearable strands perfect for layering. I also discovered playful heart- and star-shaped pearls, plus soft, colorful mixes that will add a subtle touch of whimsy to necklaces, bracelets, and layered looks.
Beads & Smooth Rondelles That Pop
Rainbow ombré rondelles and sparkling smooth beads stole the show this year. I picked up a wide variety of colors, perfect for vibrant layered necklaces and bracelets. These materials will be new for us to use and I couldn't be more excited to see where this collection takes us.
Gemstones Galore
Tourmaline, aquamarine, moonstone, labradorite, pyrite, and more—Tucson was overflowing with gemstones that immediately inspired me. I also found strands perfect for refreshing our mini gemmy collection, so your favorite designs will always be available.
Mother of Pearl Magic
I couldn’t resist the sculptural Mother of Pearl pieces—fish, turtles, hearts, and stars—plus some dramatic puffed abalone that’s perfect for statement necklaces and charms. These pieces will appear in both bold, chunky designs and smaller, subtle accents that make each piece special.
Charm Bar & Finishing Touches
I picked up whimsical charms of our favorite ocean inspired motifs that will bring new life to our charm bar. The mix-and-match possibilities are endless, and I can’t wait for you to see the playful combinations we’ve been planning.
