Every summer, I seem to find a few pieces that I reach for again and again. They come with me through busy days at the shop, dinners with friends, special events and everything in between. This summer, I’ve been mixing colorful gemstones, mother of pearl and some of my favorite ocean-inspired charms.
One of my most-worn combinations starts with our Mini Charm Holder Necklace in gold vermeil. I’ve been pairing it with the statement mother-of-pearl starfish charm, which feels so fitting for summer on Martha’s Vineyard. It makes a statement but is still easy enough to wear every day.
I’ve been layering my charm holder with the Opalite Smoothie Gemstone Necklace. The opalite beads catch the summer light so beautifully and add a soft, colorful layer without competing with the charms. It is one of those necklaces that seems to work with everything.
In the same look, I’m wearing our intricate blue mother-of-pearl shell cluster earrings. They feature tiny pearls and blue Peruvian opals, with so many beautiful little details to discover. They are inspired by the ocean but feel special enough to wear well beyond the beach.
Another piece I’ve worn everywhere this summer is my statement abalone necklace. I wore it to a black-tie banquet, but I’ve also styled it with easy, everyday outfits. I love jewelry that does both—something you can dress up for a special evening and then reach for again a few days later just because it makes you feel good.
